im wanting to start a web based business but cant find a good web design site if anyone know of one please let me know and if i can disgne it my self the please get back to me asap thanks

If you mean just the graphics and layout detail, then that is fine. But, the features your website offers and how people are going to navigate around your website is really important. I think the answer is that you should design most of the website yourself. On paper, put every possible feature for the website you could want, and maybe even draw examples. Next, use a scanner to scan them into your computer.

Finally, submit your website idea to RENTACODER.com. Instruct bidders to include a link to their portfolio in their bid, so you can see what their websites have looked like in the past. There surely must be thousands of well-qualified web-developers on rentacoder who can design your website properly, but you should be the one to instruct them how to design it. If you decide to go this route, place a link in the details section and maybe I’ll bid on it.

I’ve used Rentacoder and am very happy with my results. Just remember it is very similar to being a good supervisor, in that you shouldn’t be a jerk pointlessly and should be polite but you do have to demand things of your workers. And as mentioned, you need to already know exactly what you want. From your question, it seems like you may not have thought about it a lot. The same would be true if you were to hire a design agency or use another website to do the work.

well, if you want something for free there are many templates but they are mostly used by other people because they are free and look good

if you want the design to look professional and unique for you with your own logo … you should ask a designer

you can post an ad wanting a designer in any forum and you’ll get replies yet most of them are amateurs so try to contact people that you’ve seen their work

if you have any friends or relatives of yours that have the capabilities to design a website for you for free its even better

its better to have one of your friends doing it because you’ll have no problem changing anything in the design and shaping to be what you want

as for me my cousin was much of a helping hand

If you want a simple HTML website without any programming features and are familiar with the basics then you can design yourself. In that case you would need to register for a domain name (Check http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ for that) and a hosting supplier.
I had my website from a web design company in Leicester. Contact them if you want affordable and good design for your website. Check http://www.eazytiger.net/.
