I’m looking to learn web page design and am looking for an entry level course on line. I am a total beginner but learn quickly. any suggestions?

I am taking online classes at Palomar College (http://www.palomar.edu) and they offer everything from basic HTML classes to more advanced stuff like JavaScript/AJAX, PHP, ASP, Java, etc. Some classes have an in class orientation, but I didn’t go to any of them and was still able to take the classes, so you should be able to take them from anywhere. If you are just looking to learn for free and not going for a degree, I would listen to the previous suggestion and check out the tutorials at w3schools.com

Personally I used W3Schools (http://w3schools.com/) to learn online coding and web design. It has some great tutorials for beginners and gives you some good tips. Otherwise, if you want more advanced learning, go to the product’s website (such as MySQL or PHP) and you will find more tutorials and code.

    Hope this helps,
