I tried to get some info on the internet, but it seems that the prices, either for sale or for rent, are the same prices than in Europe ( I am in France ).
I see in the news that Venezuela has poverty and unemployment problems, despite of its being a huge oil producer, and I’ve heard that the middle salary and the minimum salary are only 1/3 of the middle european salary and the minimum european salary.
So I just can’t understand why 60m2 apartements can cost more than 100 000 euros in Venezuela. Not to mention monthly rent prices that are the same as Paris centre !!! ( more than 600 euros per month )
Can you explain me HOW poor people in Venezuela can pay their home rent or buy a house ?
Poor people live in terrible situation, and dont pay that… youre looking for apartments that are much nicer than the normal Venezuelan live in. It has been 2 years since I lived in Venezuela and we have had a large devaluation in our currency, but to me it does sound like too muh what they’re charging you.
Are you sure that you’re getting the ammounts right?

Very poor people live in the slums. They don’t pay rent becuse they make their own homes.

Are you sure that you’re getting the ammounts right?
