They spin every story so that he's shown in a positive light. They're covering for him so much because the man is a walking disaster. Everything he says, he ends up recanting, or backtracking. His inexperience and global naivete shows every time he opens his mouth. It's embarassing. And McCain's so middle of the road, he's almost a leftist. He doesn't sound at all conservative or Republican, so the media exploits his weaknesses. (drilling for oil and immigration). They're both clueless and don't listen to the American people.
